Arkle Theatre Company Early Finge Show
Laugh Out Loud (Cry Quietly) by Stacie Lents
Directed by Jana Doughty

Love at first swipe?
Laugh Out Loud (Cry Quietly) follows an eclectic group of twenty-somethings living in New York City as they turn to the internet (where else?) to find love. Through the intricate weaving of wacky text messages and awkward dates, each person learns what they can – and can’t – tolerate in a mate.
Playful and feel-good, LOL offers a touching and relatable look at the lengths we go to for love.

Arkle Theatre Company Late Fringe Show
You Remind Me of You by Matthew Capodicasa
Directed by Hannah Bradley

Girl meets boy. Boy meets girl.
It’s a familiar story which becomes complicated when he can’t remember her face.
Adele and Vincent meet in a bar, where most modern love stories begin. But love is never easy and the pair have family illness and neurological disease in the way of happiness.
As Adele begins to fall for Vincent, a musician with face blindness, her father’s condition worsens and she finds herself surrounded by people who, despite knowing her deeply, cannot recognise her.
They say that love is blind; can it truly conquer all?
