It is with huge disappointment that we have to announce the postponement of our production of ‘The Venetian Twins’ which was due to be on from the 1st to the 4th of April.
In light of the current health crisis it would not be fair to attempt to stage the show when we are so uncertain as to the position in two weeks time.
For those that have purchased tickets online to date there will be a full refund, please just give us a few days to get that organised, we thank you for your patience.
We intend at this stage to produce the play again in the early part of next year.
We would like to express our huge thanks to all the team involved in preparations and rehearsals so far, they received this news with amazing grace.
Our thanks therefore to Phil Barnes, Hazel Eadie, Sinead Gray, Hannah Bradley, Helen Goldie, Isaac Allen, Brian Neill, Steven Croall, Mark Anderson, Alastair Lawless, David Scott, Rob Shields, Craig Robertson and Jane Purves.
At this point in time we are still very hopeful of staging our Fringe productions and we are aiming for audition readings for these some time in late April, watch this space.
It’s less than a month till our production of Tony Cownie’s hilarious adaptation of Goldoni’s The Venetian Twins, and you can help spread the word by sharing our flyer far and wide with friends and family. Don’t forget every ticket includes a tea/coffee and a piece of home-baking during the interval, and are available to buy direct from Arkle here.
As well as the combined flyer you can choose your favourite twin – will you be #TeamTonino or #TeamZanetto?
Find out Wed 1st – Sat 4th April, 7:30pm at the Hill Street Theatre.
